The Parking Sensor Kit can help you avoid those costly backup collisions that happen so easily. Even more important, it can help save the life of a small child. Once installed, the system will automatically turns on when you put your car into reverse. If an object is detected while backing up, the system omits audible beeps, as well as shows the distance on the on-dash display telling you how far you are from an object. The faster the beep, the closer you are. If you are too close to an object, the beep sounds like an alarm. 
 
How the system works ?
The system starts when you put the vehicle in Reverse Gear, working a little bit a radar system whereby each sensor sends out a signal which bounces against any objects and then back to the sensor head; Closer the object is to the vehicle, less time it takes the signal to bounce, thus allowing the Main Control Box to calculate the distance, display in the form of a digital display and by a beep-beep sound. As the vehicle gets closer to the object, the interval between beeps becomes shorter until at 0. 3m, a continuous tone is given to indicate to stop.

Wireless LED Display Unit x 1

Being wireless, no wires are required between the Mainbox at the rear of the vehicle and the display in the front. This makes fitting this system much easier expecially when installing in motor homes and any larger vehicles.
The LED Display Unit normally set inside the driving room, most likely mount on dash for easy reading. It has 2 digit LED numerical distance display, Multi-colored bar graph display indicates distance to objects and left or right. The build-in speaker provide Audible tones with 3 distinct warnings. Main Control Box x 1

The Main Control Box is the brains behind the whole system. It simply wires into the reverse light for power so that the unit switches on when you place your vehicle into reverse gear.

The Main Control Box mounts with adhesive pad out of sight either inside the boot of the car or behind the rear bumper easily.
Ultrasonic Sensor x 4

The Sensor should be installed on rear bumper and connect to the Parking Sensor Mainbox, it uses ultrasonic sound waves to detects objects and measure distance. It can be mount on most Domestic / Import Cars, SUVs, Trucks, caravans or motor homes. Simple yet very effective.

Sensors come in black but they can be spray painted in the color code of your vehicle to match the bumper. Just avoid brush painting (it is too thick and uneven).
